I don't know if this has been discussed but the past week I have had 2 occasions that that video mode has changed from normal to stretch and I can't figure out how to get it back to normal without doing a factory default reset. This is not horrible except I have to re scan for OTA and let it do it's screwey reboot. Any ideas?

The star "*" key on the remote toggles between the stretch modes. Be aware that the receiver remembers different settings for HD and SD channels. For instance, I have my SD channels set to display grey bars, but my HD set to normal mode.

Also Calvin, There are separate aspect mode for both SD and HD content. HOw you set them is you change to HD channel and set the aspect mode and then change to a SD channel and set the aspect mode there using the "*" key as HDMe pointed out and I have had my dogs more than once step on that button.
