Had the same scenario, I just left it to conflict and it recorded them both without problems.

More double recordings on same channel.
In the past I've had this issue with My Name is Earl and The Office and now it happened again last night. I had two entrys for How I Met Your Mother this now created a conflict with Everybody Hates Chris. So I deleted one of the How I Met Your Mother and everything looked ok (ie. it removed the X from Everybody Hates Chris). So I turned on the R15 at 6:58 and it said do you want to keep recording How I Met Your Mother (which was odd since it didn't start for 2 min's) so I said yes and it changed to Channel 2. When 7:00 started Everybody Hates Chris did start recording but How I Met Your Mother didn't so I hit record and it did record the show.
I hate babysitting. Can't wait for the updates.

I didn't trust it with the conflict being on Everybody Hates Chris. I figured I wasn't going to get either if I left it.
