Friday - NBC & ABC HD pixelation issues, cracking audio, out of sync audio, cut outs
Saturday - Same thing
Sunday - NO ABC HD from 3pm until the next morning
Monday - tonight - Weird audio issues on NBC HD & ABC HD. During Hero's, sounded like it was in a tin can. On Studio60, no dialouge, only background channels could be heard. On both TV's. Then HD feed goes down.

I'm on Directv on a HR20 and had the same problems. I have been having problems with my HR20 and wasn't too sure if the above was related to my unit or the broadcast. I wasn't at home this weekend to watch the other days but I had the same audio issues on Heros and lost the dialogue feed on Studio 60 then I lost the entire HD feed.

I noticed the same problem while watching Heroes on my HR20 as well. I tried flipping through all my listening modes on my Yamaha receiver, but it didn't make any difference. Though I'm not sure about the specifics anymore, I have heard similar sound problems, rarely, in the past with the same receiver and an R10 Tivo-based unit. So, I hope it is the broadcast.

I had same problem with my Dish feeds as well. Must be Sutro problem if D* customers are seeing this as well. Maybe some OTA folks will chime in.

On Studio 60 Monday night, the commercials had sound, and after 10-15 minutes they fixed the main sound as well. What appeared to be going on was that the center channel, and maybe front left and front right as well, were missing/unplugged. That would explain why the background noise was there, as it's coming from the rear surround channels, and why the commercials were OK (not recorded in 5.1 sound). I don't have my HD receiver hooked up to a Dolby Digital receiver, but if someone does they could presumably verify this by seeing which speakers were emitting sounds during the problem areas.

I watched ABC OTA from Sutro on Sunday night. It had a number of hiccups,
but it was being brodcast.

We can't blame this on Dish. This is just one example of the myriad problems that KNTV's OTA signal has had in the last two weeks. Their station engineers really need to get it together.
