I added the Sling Player via USB to my 722k DVR this morning.

When I fired up the Dish Android app, everything worked great. (both
live TV and recorded programs)

However, more than half of my recorded programs are missing. Under My
Recordings, it's showing only 18 entries. On my TV, I have at least
46 recorded.

I tried using Dish Online on my PC. It's also showing just 18 entries.

What's even stranger is that I have 5 episodes of "Nikita" recorded on my DVR.
On the Android app and Dish Online(PC), only 1 episode is listed.

Any help appreciated! I spoke with two tech support agents and they were
not able to figure out the problem.

By the way, am I correct in assuming that programs stored on the external
hard drive attached to my 722k DVR cannot be accessed remotely via the
Sling adapter?

Thanks for the question. DRA, and Dishonline should have no issues with the Sling Adapter. However, if you have a Sling Box product, DRA has know n issues with it. There are also some known issues with the HTC Evo.

My Sling Adapter is the $49 one from the Dish website. It has a short USB
cable that plugs into the USB port on my 722k DVR.

As of today, it is still only showing 18 entries under "My DVR" when I access
it via DRA on my tablet or phone, as well as Dish Online website via my PC.

I have tried power-cycling the 722K DVR, uninstalling/reinstalling the DRA
app, and just about everything I can think of...

update:

all the 100+ programs recorded suddenly showed up a few days I started
this thread... so everything worked great for a while.

until last week when it went back to showing just 16 or 18 programs
recorded...

I've tried rebooting the device and nothing changed. Is there any chance
that the Sling adapter or the DVR is going bad? (the DVR works perfectly
when I'm just watching stuff on a regular TV)

Have you pressed the refresh button under the receiver icon to see if the full list of DVR content displays? If so, please provide your receiver number and all the details and steps you have taken when you see this issue. Please let me know. Thanks.

update:
