Is it possible to have more than once HR34 on an account so I could have 10 tuners? Would the SWiM be able to handle that many tuners?

When I first put in my order for the whole home upgrade...I tried to get 2 and while the CSR I talked to was very nice and gave me a HELL of a deal...he told me that 2 HR34's in the same cloud would conflict with each other. I accepted it at the time..

You might not be able to order more than one through DirecTV, but dealers like Solid Signal will provide as many as you want.

As far as the SWM is concerned, there is an SWM LNB (installed at the dish) that has an absolute maximum capability of 8 tuners. There is an external SWM8 and SWM16 which can support 8 and 16 tuners respectively. These require 4 coax from the dish to the external SWM device.

If you have the SWM LNB (single coax from the dish), then you can't support two HR34's with it. You would have to change the LNB and add an external SWM16.

Yes its possible. I have 2 HR34s.
