Under the showcases tab, why cant the movies or specials that you watch be able to be deleted?

i know that they dont take up space from regular side of the hard drive, but maybe make the showcases follow the PPV rules. they should be deleted after viewing in 24 or even 48 hrs.
I'm just tired of seeing the same crap under the showcases tab for weeks and even months. esp. the welcome to directv on demand and dvr video.

The reserved portion of the drive is just that... reserved. Stuff will eventually get deleted but that's up to DIRECTV's timetable.

i knew that was the case, i thought it would just be nice if it could follow the PPV rules. 24hrs to watch after pressing play then it gets deleted. i like to keep things "clean".

this was more of suggestion than anything else.
