moving programs from dvr to a laptop pc

I want to put programs from my vip622 dvr to my laptop pc. Is this possible?

Only if your laptop has a video capture card.
You can play events on your DVR and capture them live on any analog input video capture card. Some have also used DVD burners to capture their programs.
