My mom is coming to visit with us for a week or so, and I'd like to move an H21 from the laundry room to the guest bedroom.
I have a SWM-16 set up, all Hxes have DECA.
There is only one other Hx (HR20-700) on the top floor of my house, where the guest room is. Would it be technically feasible to split the signal coming to that dvr, before the DECA, and run a line from there to the new receiver location? This would be the easiest solution for me, as I could run the line up through the bedroom closet into the attic, and then down behind a bookcase to the guest room. The distance between the two locations is about 15', plus the vertical rise and drop (another 16' or so). I would then move the H21 and its DECA to the new location.
If that setup will work, what splitter do I need? What spec of coax would work best?
