I suppose it could have been something I hadn't noticed before but I doubt it. They may have opened the bandwidth maybe? It really sounded good.davidord said:

I noticed that "In Plain Sight" recorded this last Sunday on USA sounded really, really good. Better than I've ever noticed. DVD quality 5.1. The soft (under dialog) music coming out of the left and right speakers was excellent and the rear speakers offered up a lot of effects I had never noticed before. Is this because they have switched to MPEG 4?
