Yay! I can now use 501 for HBO recordings (was limiting myself to HBOW).

I'm just gonna be glad to have more flexibility with movie recordings and still get better quality/smaller file sizes. :)

Wasn't HBO in HD before this?
Yes but there was a clear difference between HBO East (MPEG2) and HBO West (MPEG4). This ends the difference. (And takes up less space to boot.)

All the channels that were coverted to MPEG4 are saying searching for sattelite. Tryed reboot. Nothing changed. Example 73 works 206 does not. 75 works 245 does not.
Check your satellite strength on 99(c) if you have a DVR or 99(a) if you have a non-DVR.

Having the same problem. Rebooted twice. Showtime comes and goes, but all the other new MPEG 4 channels keep searching for satellite.

On 99c I get a single strength ranging from 0 - 32.
On 103c I get a single strength ranging from 67 - 77.

Any help would be appreciated.:)
