Are Los Angeles's HD Locals transmitted in MPEG4? I know they have MPEG2, but I heard that MPEG4 has better quality picture (true?) and I wanted to know if they're broadcasting the LA HD channels in MPEG4 as well (like D* is doing)?

At the present time, however, our Dish HD locals (Los Angeles area) seem the most prone to video and audio problems.

Hmm, that's not good... what sort of video and audio problems are they? Are they pretty bad? I want to switch from D* because I'm having audio stuttering and occasional video dropouts... if E*'s going to have similar problems then maybe it's not worth the conversion at this time!
