I have three DVRs plus a non-dvr HD box setup in a whole home system. When I choose a program to record on the non-dvr device it gives me the choice of which DVR to record to. I want to set a specific box as my primary (Because it has the most space) so I don't have to choose it every time.

I thought the list may be alphabetical so I placed a "1" in front of the box I wanted as default but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Any ideas?

It's possible it is using the IP address on the DVR to determine which DVR to pick first.
You might want to manually set the IP addresses for each DVR.
