Has anyone any idea about this upcoming product that Charlie slipped on that essentially is one receiver for multiple TVs?

I can envision a single box that you could put into a cable ready house that can distribute programming to individual TVs throughout the house. Multiple tuning and PVR capability to all TVs.... PinPs everywhere if the tuners are available.

That would be kinda cool huh? Dont have to buy 4 721s if they built a 4 tuner 721-like product that can redistribute to up to 4 TVs.

I believe the upcoming-rumored 522 is the unit you refer to.
Nothing as grandiose as you describe although I think it is pretty much a 508 with dual-tuner with separate dual-output

I think they should have made this standard for the 721 and should have had it as a 722 instead with two outputs in which I think is a big mistake they made with the product.

A 922 HD hard drive unit with two outputs is supposed to be out in the future.

I'm currently running the output of 2 DPs
to 7 TVs, with 5 of the TVs receiving feeds
from both DPs.

Living Rm* - both, wired

Kitchen - both, wireless
Patio - both, wireless
Bed Rm 1 - both, 1 wired, 1 wireless
Bed Rm 2 - one, wired
Bath Rm - one, wired

I'm using two X10 wireless senders transmitting to four X10 receivers.

I get mine from www.x10.com A tx/rx pair runs about 70 bucks, but
with bonus stuff like free shipping, accessories and gift certificates.
Lots of specials. Mine work very well except when the 'nuker' is making
popcorn they both use freqs in the 2.4 GHz band. The rx outputs both
RF (ch 3/4) and RCA-type a/v connects. They can also return IR remote
commands to UHF for distant channel-changing.

Switching is done in two ways, depending on how I have them wired.
1) using the TV remote TV/Video key, and 2) manually switching at the
wireless receiver (patio & kitchen). You can assign each tx and rx their
own 2.4 MHz 'channel' A/B/C/D. As I mentioned above, I have 2 DPs,
so I assigned the wireless transmitters to A and D respectively. Then,
on the wireless receivers for the patio and kitchen TVs, I can easily
switch with a fingertip, which, in reality, doesn't happen too often.
