if you need more than the 8 outputs, then there is a WB616.

So you're trying to feed CATV too?dreamyip said:Thanks. What about another source from cable signal ?

This becomes harder as the new HD channels are in the same frequencies.
My cousin has this installed done about 1 year ago before the first wave of new HD channels were up. At that time, the cable signal was able to mixed in with the D* signal through the multiswitch but he can't see the new HD channels since. I am trying to help him to find a solution for it.Grentz said:Was this installed by directv? If so they should have given you the proper multiswitch...
Currently for the slimline there is the WB68 that has 8 outputs and the WB616 that has 16.
If you meaning diplexing in your cable signal, that gets a bit tricky with the new HD and you should search for diplexing for some reading up on that, lots of threads on it around here.
This is where it gets harder because the BBCs that are used convert the 250-750 MHz band from the Ka-lo SATs to 1650-2150 MHz.dreamyip said:Yes.
Thanks, let me try.veryoldschool said:This is where it gets harder because the BBCs that are used convert the 250-750 MHz band from the Ka-lo SATs to 1650-2150 MHz.
Some have been able to diplex OTA/Cable into the output of the Zinwell WB68, but you need to move each BBC to before the diplexer [and diplex each output separately], and then diplex it back out before the receiver.
Also know that this setup is not supported by DirecTV, so while some have been able to make it work, it is up to you completely.
