Here's the situation. I currently have 3 receivers and 4 tuners. It is an HD setup using a Slimline so all 4 outputs from the dish are used. When I had this installed over a year ago, the installation was pittiful and I wound up remounting the dish, pole, etc.

I would like to add another HD DVR to the mix and I know that it will require either SWM or a Multiswitch. If I order this new IRD from DirecTV, will they supply me with a multiswitch, or do I have to get it myself? Will they allow me to install it myself (I have zero faith those idiots that tried the first time around could do it right this time either and I'm fully capable).

The second question is around OTA. I believe DirecTV is currently only shipping HR21's. Assuming this to be true, will they provide an AM21 tuner if I request it? Any idea of charge for the AM21?

if Directv installs the new IRD, they will supply a multiswitch for it. the price on the AM21 is either free or 50$ depending on if you mention that you want OTA or not.
