I have not listened in a while, but I don't mind them being there.otnipj3s said:To me it seems like a big waste of channel space.
Yup, Sirius Alternative Rock :joy:Redlinetire said:Absolutely I use them! I use both the CD and Sirius channels a lot, especially on weekends.
Frankly, it's another reason I could never go back to cable. The Music Choice channels on my local system are sub par IMO.
Well, I think you have your answer!otnipj3s said:Does anybody really use them ? Every 6 months I scan through them to see whats on, listen for a few seconds and go back to regular TV. To me it seems like a big waste of channel space.
I use them all the time, so does my neibors, they dont have a choice when i crank them up on my Onkyo and Infinity system!!!!! I love working outside in the yard and house cleaning while rocking with Buzzsaw channel 6019.garys said:I use them from time to time (radio reception in my area is very iffy. Both my sister as well as my brother and her girl friend listen to them. My dad listened to them when his friends were over playing cards.
Ditto here. I listen to various Sirius channels all day long while I am working at home.Redlinetire said:Absolutely I use them! I use both the CD and Sirius channels a lot, especially on weekends.

They are talking about the "audio only" music channels, not mtv,fuse,vh1 ,etcAdam Richey said:I use them quite a bit actually. I love Fuse because it's a nice alternative to MTV and they play more rock than MTV does. I really don't care much for MTV or MTV 2, but some of VH1's reality shows (or should I say Celebreality?) I admit draw me in. LOL. If anything, Dish can afford to expand the offerings. There are plenty of people who appreciate Gospel and Gospel Music TV from Sky Angel and Gospel Music Channel (on DirecTV) seem good. VH1 Soul would be a very welcome addition to a lot of people I know. I REALLY hope Dish considers Soundtrack Channel too because I'm a fan of Thomas Newman, James Horner, Randy Edelman and some of these movie composers. They are even launching in HD in the future, so another unique HD channel would be nice too. Even CMT Pure Country would be a welcome addition to a lot of people I know. CMT has become the country music version of MTV and VH1, and Great American Country plays more of the older hits than newer music it seems. There's certainly an argument IMO for music channel offerings to expand GREATLY.
