Presuming you're running the latest software, which I think is L5.12, pretty much all you can try is a hard-reset (power cord), and Switch Check.
If you've done that, and you put the receiver into stand-by each night, if it continues, most likely, you need the receiver swapped out.

Also check to see if it's overheating. If its on a surge protector, try bypassing it. Try a different outlet. Not saying any one of those is the most likely cause, just things to try.
