After receiving the hdgui update two weeks ago all three hr24s are having the same problem - they are not updating. Under "my directv" it says "check back later and we'll have shows to share." similarly, under the "search and browse" option, "all movies" says "all movies is currently updating. Please check back in 1 hour." as I said, it has been two weeks and the messages are not going away. My system is working fine otherwise, systems tests show all systems are good and each receiver is on my home network with an Internet connection. I have tried restarting the receivers and that doesn't help either. I believe this is a software issue because I had the CE version before and did not have this problem - it worked great. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have a thought on how to fix this? Many thanks in advance!

Thank you for your response - tried rebooting several times in a row and waiting but no improvement. I have to say that I am starting to get sick of these kinds of issues with Directv when we pay a huge premium for the service. For the amount we pay we should be getting service and equipment that doesn't require so much fiddling.

Several means more then two. Resetting your receiver "twice" in a thirty minute period will clear the cache. Give it time to rebuild.
