I was just curious to see who has or don't have this MyNetwork TV in their local market? I live in the Spokane,WA market and i certainly don't. I know they have a local channel but Direct doesn't have it. Any idea when they may have it here? Does your market carry this locally?

My DMA (Joplin) does not but Tulsa Oklahoma does.

Philadelphia has it, but that's mainly because it was the WB affiliate before the UPN/WB merger (which went to what was the UPN station).

I have all the locals I have OTA. I think those that don't are foolish, it is backup to satellite and with digital there are a lot more channels.

MyNetwork in my DMA (156) is a low power station and thus isn't yet broadcasting digitally. The station is on a subchannel of our Fox affilaite. Therefore, not in HD.

Did I mention that DirecTV hasn't yet provided our locals? SD or HD?

In the Portland/Auburn, ME DMA, Directv carries My Network TV in SD only, even though the local channel is only broadcasting in HD (SD feed was shut off last week).

Yes it's on DirecTV (SD, doesn't exist in HD) even though it's just a low power repeater station but it's only on DirecTV because it used to be the local sports station carrying a lot of local sports and was a UPN affiliate. DirecTV being all about sports added many of these types of stations when rolling out locals at the beginning of the decade.

We don't have a CW because it's only a digital subchannel but we get the Baltimore CW affiliate.

But I can honestly say I've never watched either station other then when there is a game I want to watch on the MyTV station.

What's My Network? .. OK, I sort of know the answer but honestly I've never turned that channel on. I'm know we get it here in the SF Bay Area, though. I used to watch KRON 4 when it was NBC but very little since they went independent (and now My Network)

I can not get it on OTA in Little Rock, but have all other locals on Directv.

I have My Network TV HD on cable and have had it since August of last year, I don't think DirecTV has it in HD but they do in SD though, and after just over 13 months, I saw HD content on it for the first time last weekend, it was syndicated Two and a Half Men episode. What an utter waste of bandwidth. Only thing I watch an My Net TV is syndicated Family Guy. The network is useless, not sure why it's even still around.

As of last December, KUTP here in Phoenix has been carried in HD by DirecTV. Since they carry the Suns games, there was probably a good amount of demand.

D* has it in HD & SD here in NYC, but i use the OTA feed.... most of the yankees sunday afternoon games on televised on my9 in HD.

Our local Mynetwork affiliate is a -2 subchannel of our CBS affiliate (WHP). I can't get either (CBS or Mynetwork subchannel) OTA due to very their low power (4 kW) and D* doesn't provide anything locally other than ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox in HD. No MyNetwork, No CW, and No PBS.

In the Boston DMA it's on Channel 50 from Derry, NH, I believe SD only.

Have it here in Chicago... but as someone said in this post, I never turn it on. I honestly don't think you're missing anything no matter where you live. :lol:
