Around 9:00AM this morning (Pacific) I hit the rewind button to review something on live TV (the Today SHow). The machine went into rewind, then refused to accept any more commands from the remote or front panel.
I pulled the plug.... long period at 97% during restart but then operated normally.
At 4:00PM (Pacific) I went for an hour walk. When I got back both my HR20-700s had rebooted on their own (could tell because I turn off the big blue lights). Wasn't a power outage (both are on UPS).
Was this to fix the mass freeze reported elsewhere?
