National Women's Football Association Inks TV Deal with CoLours TV

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - It's taken the sport of women's football over six years to accomplish it, but Catherine Masters and the National Women's Football Association has done it.

"I've known since I started this league that one of the main things we needed to get more fans and revenues is a TV deal. Now, we have one and we couldn't be happier," she states.

The deal is with CoLours TV, America's first and only Multicultural Network, channel 9407 on the Dish Network. CoLours TV and the NWFA have been in discussions for over a year and now that the deal is done, both parties are moving forward to make the televised debut of the NWFA a rousing success.

CoLours TV will air many of the NWFA's team's games as well as the 2007 World Championship game. A complete schedule of games will be posted on the league's website in early 2007.
