Hi, guys.
9 years with Dish, but 2 weeks with HD. Any idea how Dish decides which games ot show in HD? Sure would like to see the Warriors in HD tonight. It is being carried in SF Bay Area in HD (if you have cable). I live in Sacramento, and have to have League Pass to watch any Warriors games. Guess I should be just grateful for what I am getting, NOT!
Also, is there EVER anything shown on NBAHD? IT always says "off air" and the few NBA games in HD are on HDPPV. Kinda strange.........

Thanks in advance for any info:

Beginning last season, NBAHD began broadcasting 24/7. Not HD content all the time, but the channel was active all the time - not just during live games. Last year, E* didn't have the transponder space to dedicate to the channel 24/7. I believe now they do have the space. The fact that they still don't show it has to be a $$$ issue. BTW - They did broadcast it as a free preview during the playoffs last year.

I agree that it may be a dollar issue that will be resolved by the new Dish HD rates. I do not mind paying $10 more for Platinum if better programming is provided. INHD on cable has been providing the NBA TV games in HD all season.

That is semantics. Dish HD Platinum is going to cost $10 a month more. AEP is
going up $5 (unless TNG Tony is wrong). Sounds like a Dish marketing hype, we provide more HD than anybody.

There are no new Dish HD rates. DishHD is not increasing in price.

DishHD this year is $20 more than the non-HD packages, and will continue to be so next year when the other rate increases take effect.
As mentioned it was $15 more for platinum then AEP. Now its going to be $20 more.

Platinum package customers are just losing the $5 introductory discount they were being offered. For everyone else, our HD went to $20 early this year.
It was never advertised as an introductory discount.

HD has always been $20 more than related SD package, except for Platinum which got an unfair extra $5 off for no reason.
