I've been trying to get the broadband/mobile component of my LP package activated...to no avail. The online methods thus far have not worked. As backup the NBA has a ticket system, but the so-called upload server never works (they want proof of LP subscription from DTV and your acct #). The backup to that is to fax the info which I have done twice in the past 10 days. I found a number for LP Broadband support (888 622 0178) but they insist they have nothing to do with activation and the guy had the nerve to tell me that fax "is the least reliable method of communication". When I informed him that was the only option left for me he said I should email my info to [email protected] I told him I was not very hopeful. He apologized several times and said there was nothing else he could do. Any ideas?

How recently have you tried? I sent in my ticket about 10 days ago and successfully got everything working over the weekend.

1/4, 1/9, and again today. did you get an email confirming activation? I just try to launch LP Broadband 2-3 times a day to see if it has happened...thus far obviously no.

It amazes me that we see this identical thread every year (not meant as a shot in any way to the OP).
i'd like to hear from people who have had the online activation work (i.e., selecting dropdown box with 'Directv' and then entering account number) it has never worked for me. faxes in past years have worked after 1-2 days..this year it is ridiculous.

Get a screen capture of recent activity on your account and email it to the NBA.
That's what I did.

I faxed off a copy of my bill to the NBALP Dept of Turner Sports with my NBA.com email address I use. Within 48hrs I was up and running with the login credentials of my NBA.com account. I would go that route if you can, it's fast & easy.

To Submit A Fax

To: NBA League Pass Broadband
Fax #: 404-878-4093

When faxing your information, be sure to include the email address for your All Access account and any related ticket number.

I got an email telling me to try again and when I did, it worked.

I was having trouble this year activating my NBA Broadband when entering my account no. It kept saying there was no record of my subscription. I had never had this trouble in the past. I had copied and pasted my account no. directly from my D* account. When I looked elsewhere on the site I noticed my account no. again, this time w/o a zero in front. So I copied and pasted that no. w/o the zero it worked! So for me it needed to be the eight-digit no. rather than the nine-digit no. that included a zero in front.

Yes, that's what I did each time.

I had that problem in previous years, too. Not so this year, still waiting.

Again, when you were "accepted" were you emailed? I'm getting tired of trying to log-in 3 times a day to see if I'm good.

I could not get the online activation to work. I faxed the required information from work and before I could return to my seat I had an email stating everything was in place. I have been able to watch games on my iPhone, iPad and PC. Technology is sweet, when it works! :D

guys, I forgot all about the NBA LP on broadband. I have NBA LP on directv. BUt today i went on nba.com site and registered and tried to activate the online.

I had problems.

I wound up filling out a form and submitting my bill as proof I ordred it.

Hope to hear back soon, man I wonder if NBA does this on purpose.

The trick this year seems to be move all zeros from the front side of your account number and then try verifying again. start with the first none zero in your account number and then type every number after that including zeros, but make sure only removed the zeros that were at the beginning before other numbers.
