08/27/2008XXXXXXXX6695NBA LEAGUE PASS HD - Charge$0.00$0.00
08/27/2008XXXXXXXX6695NBA LEAGUE PASS: 2008-09 - Charge$0.00$0.00

Does this mean we are going to get charged for HD this year? Has anyone heard what the plans are for HD broadcasts this year? If it's like the MLB Super Fan I don't mind paying for HD. Hopefully, we will get both feeds if they are both in HD. Maybe Satelliteracer can provide some insight into this years NBA League Pass.

If we are gonna be charged for HD, then we better get every available feed. It's been ridiculous a lot of times last year the home team feed was always used even if it was SD only, and the road team's HD feed was blacked out or unavailable!!! SO if we are gonna pay extra for HD, we better get every available game in HD every night!!! The fact that the NBA didn't allow dual feeds last year is absolutely bush league.

I had LP last year and didn't find I watched it a lot. Many times I went to tune in a game and like the previous poster mentioned the home feed was SD which made me quickly lose interest. I had in my mind that I'd keep LP if they had home/away feeds this season. That being said I'm not that excited to pay extra for HD. I may just pass and watch more College Hoops.

It's an internal system posting that authorizes your account to view HD for the particular programming you're subscribed to. I subscribe to the majority of the sport packages and with each one I receive the same account posting.

I think i paid $159.00 last year for nba league pass, not sure if i'll get it this year since the celtics are on national tv 25 times this year ,and thats not counting the games on NBA TV because their tv schedule hasnt been released yet. so if they add 10 to 15 games ,im not sure id want to pay $159.00 to watch the remaining 40 or so games . if it is $99.00 then i will get it for sure. BTW thats how much NBA TEAM PASS use to cost 14 years ago. you would just pay the $99.00 and get 1 teams entire season! of course i ordered the celtics! I wish directv would still do that!!!

No, it does not mean that. That is a code that tells our system you have HD Access and authorizes the games to show up in HD for you. But there is no SuperFan or additional HD charge. Basically if you have HD Access you're going to get the NBA games in HD assuming you also have League Pass.

That's incorrect...that's probably first payment of 2. DISH, D* and OnDemand all charge the same or within a few dollars.
