NBA Refs : "They're in the Army now"
The NBA announced the hiring of retired Army Maj. Gen. Ronald L. Johnson yesterday as "senior vice president of referee operations".This is a newly created position to strengthen the officiating problems in the league,following the Tim Donaghy scandal.Johnson will oversee all aspects of officiating.
