From TV Week:
NBC Universal had made an agreement to acquire U.K. independent production company Carnival Film & Television.

...NBC Universal's acquisition includes library rights to Carnival titles and distribution rights currently held by shareholder Southern Star.
Carnival productions have numerous awards including Oscars for Shadowland and a Golden Globe for Julianna Margulies in the 2004 mini-series The Grid.

I don't know what NBCU might do with the library, but if they want to do we American's a favor maybe we could see some of these on NBCU channels:
