Maybe they removed it when the Olympics channel started up. Everything was pay anyways, so I wasn't too excited.
Yeah, they seriously need to remove the fees for NBC VOD.
Indeed............. :)
The NBC VOD channel was done as a limited time thing from NBC as a *test* to see if people would pay for their shows. I think it's an interesting test, but the only way I would pay 1.99 to watch a rerun of a show I love (like Lost - although another network) would be if my DVR didn't record it, and the free version wasn't available on the network website. Then and only then, would I pay the 1.99. Nice to have the option though.

I'll make it official then - The test failed.

Time to try free.... :D

I hope the test failed and that it's not just the Olympics taking the bandwidth or whatever. I wonder if it's still up on XBL. I really wanted to buy "The Office" but my wife wouldn't let me get more then the first episode.

It really should be free. If NBC can't be free on demand then we're in big trouble.
I would love for the NBC on demand to offer free content with ads just like their content I can view from their web site.

I agree.

But my guess is that it will probably be some sort of compromise. The current season being free and anything older than that (if available) at a cost. Most network online content (the exception being ABC) does not have previous years episode's available. Presumably that is to not cut into their profitable DVD sales.
How about free with ads, or 99 cents for no ads... and it should all be in HD and within a day after the original airing.. that's what I would like to see...
