I have heard this problem. Check the program settings on your home theatre amplifier. If you have any special effects enabled and the TV station has phase shift errors on the different audio channels it will produce some bizzare results. Make sure your system in in normal 5.1 mode with no enhancements or artificial surround effects.
NBC6 Charlotte DD 5.1 horrible
Anyone in the Charlotte area experience terrible sound on NBC 6? If I enable DD through the HR20, the sound on commercials either has echos during broadcast or the sound just shifts to one of my surround speakers which sounds like a whisper.
This problem only happens with NBC 6. The problem also happens if I view NBC 6 OTA as well. Anyone else in Charlotte experience this?
