1st round has games on at the same time, Dish used alt in this case. 2nd round through Stanley Cup, no head to head games, no need to use an alt channel.
NBCSN on "Alt" Channels
Earlier in the Stanley Cup Playoffs I noticed NBC Sports Network was occasionally showing up on one of the "Alt" channels in the 440-460 range. Not so the past couple days. Was this a glitch that was corrected? Just curious.

I thought that CNBC was being used as a "alt channel" for the Cup.
Alt channel used when more than one game on the same channel at the same time. This only happens in the 1st round, which is nearly over.
