NCIS sound wacky tonight in HD; SD recording on SD-DVR40 unit was just fine.
Anyone else?

We're watching the SLC MPEG4 LIL version right now. Looks and sounds ok here. Still, it could have been the left coast feed from CBS to your station or from the station OTA.

Just finished watching this myself (DC Locals) and noticed several audio dropouts through the program too.....

I watched it in SD and noticed some audio issues in the first section before the intros afted that it was fine.

Just for comparison sake, was watching OTA via a 10-250 here in Florida. No audio issues at all.

That's a technical term I'm not real familiar with - perhaps you could explain.

Seriously, I have noticed that since 0xFA, when playing back a HD local show the audio lags the video by a second or more. If I exit the playback and watch the same show "live", I don't have the problem. Even if I use trick play to go back to the beginning, "live" events sound fine, while playing back the recording of the exact same showing has the delay.

Wacky in this case means: 1) Sound from some other source overlapping NCIS; 2) NCIS sound very low, almost inaudible, and with a very strange echo So if you had experienced the same problems, believe me, you would know it.
Also I guess I should have specified my local area, which in this case is Sacramento.

I recorded NCIS from the SF Bay Area HD Local and the sound was fine during playback. Didn't watch it live to know if something else was up.

NCIS HD out of NY NBC
NO audio, just SOME of the music, no voices at all!

Oh and I checked the show right after. The Unit and it seems fine in the beginning
