Need Help with HR21-700

I have an HR21-700 that started acting up last night.

I have it connected via HDMI to a TV (TV's only source).

I went to watch it last night and I am getting no picture or audio. I do still however get the guide, playlist, menu, and banner so I'm a bit confused. I also tried to play from the playlist thinking the tuner went out but the same thing happens with the playlist. I changed the HDMI cable and I switched HDMI inputs on the TV and still the same issue is occurring.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try resetting the receiver from the menu. Also,, if you have a set of component cables, try them.

You know, for as much as I use reset, I guess I just had 1 too many last night for that to even enter my mind. :bang

This happened to me a few days ago and I was about to do a reset when I decided to just hit the power button (which doesn't actually turn the unit off)....the lights went out on the front panel, hit the button a 2nd time and normal operation was restored. Just thought I'd mention this in case you ever have the problem again....considering how much faster it is than a reset you might want to try it.
