Just did a satellite check (5 lnb dish) and it shows that satellite 99(b) failed. When I did a signal check it did show a 100 on transponder 3 on sat 99 but the other five transponders show 0. I doubt this is normal and does anyone have an idea what the problem might be? What channels are on 99(b)? Thanks.

It shouldn't have "failed"...

I am not sure if 99 is active for the WA area.

Are you getting your MPEG-4 HD Locals?
If so, then don't worry right now... as the other sats are spot beamed... and it is possible you are physically not receiving the 99 SAT

Thanks, Earl

I am getting my Seattle locals so I wont worry about it. I take it that 99(b) is a ku sat and used just for locals.
Today, this is true. All spotbeams to various parts of the US. Sometime next year D* will turn up two new satellites that will give us CONUS feeds on 99 and 103 and more HD channels!

Cheers,
Tom
