The current Standard Def, standard receiver is the D11. It is fairly small...
10-1/2 wide x 7-1/4 deep x 2-1/4 high. You will need a couple of extra inches on the depth for cable connections. I would suggest at least 12" deep.
This is much smaller than any of the DVR's or hi def receivers, so if there is any possibility that you will upgrade it in the future, you will need a substantially larger space.
