Some markets get channels off cable from a neighboring market that are significantly viewed. Sometimes these channels may be available to satellite subscribers, but only if the actual local channels are available first.
For example, Marquette Michigan market gets channel 3, 6, 10, 13, and 19 locally. On cable there is a channel 11 available as well which is not receivable over the air. Marquette Michigan does not have locals available over the satellite. Channel 11 is NOT available to a subscriber in the Marquette market over the satellite even though it is on the satellite for the Green Bay market because there are no Marquette locals available first. If Marquette had locals on the satellite channel 11 would be available providing the Marquette locals were subscribed to FIRST.
