Nets Prepare 9/11 Tribute
Cable/satellite networks will deliver an original 30-second public service announcement (PSA) on the evening of Sept. 11 marking the one-year anniversary of the tragic terrorist events that occurred in New York City, at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania.
More than a dozen networks to date have pledged to air the PSA at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, Sept. 11. The list of participating networks include: Animal Planet, Bravo, Comedy Central, Court TV, DIY, Discovery Channel and its digital nets, Food Network, HGTV, Lifetime and its channels, muchmusic usa, Starz Encore Group, TBS Superstation, TLC, The Weather Channel, and many others.
