AWESOME!! So how do you like your HR34 so far?
That adds up to 9 tuners. Do you have four lines coming from your dish to a SWiM-16?tomallison24 said:Great news for me! I'm a new customer and had HR34(HMC), 2 H[STRIKE]R[/STRIKE]25, HR24 and a slimline dish installed today. Greg from Multiband(Louisville, Ohio) was the installer. What a great job he did! From beginning to end all he cared about was to make it the best job possible, and he did. The Directv dish was placed no where near the old Dishnetwork dish but he took down the old dish for me anyway. I had a bunch of old old old big satellite dish cable that Dishnetwork just connected their wires to on my install 2.5 years ago. Greg fished new cable wherever he needed to get rid of the old and give me the straightest non splitter runs possible. Everything is working perfectly. Probably will have some questions tomorrow once I figure out what I don't know.
Only the HR34 is a DVR, so I believe that means I "just" have 5 tuners.Drucifer said:That adds up to 9 tuners. Do you have four lines coming from your dish to a SWiM-16?
Thanks. I did know that but had a senior moment. I'll edit opening post.Davenlr said:Cool.. Then you have a HR34, H24, and 2 H25's? The "R" means DVR...

I'll try this myself tomorrow, but if I have 8 tuners, would that mean I can record/watch 5 shows on the HR34 and still watch something different on the other 3 receivers?Drucifer said:8 tuners
That, I didn't know. Tooooooooo coooool.Davenlr said:Yea, you can watch anything on the other boxes, either live tv, or something from the HR34, all while the HR34 can record 5 shows.
