So I'm heading home from work yesterday, and when I turn on to my street I pull off to get the mail three houses up. The house directly across the mailboxes was getting new D* service installed and the installer was outside his van getting some materials. I walked over to chat with him a bit but I happen to get a glance inside his van (back doors were open).
He had eight HR24s on a rack, four HR34s near the left back door, and several smaller boxes (assuming they were H25s or SD recievers) along with four bags of concrete mix. My jaw dropped for a second thinking of the possibilites of adding all that to my set up a few houses down. I didn't get close enough or ask if all the DVRs were either new or refurb....but he did not have a single HR21/22/23 in the van.
