During Football season I'm traveling and I ordered the sunday ticket and got the superfan. Can I take my access card to my friends in another city I'm traveling and watch the ticket on his receiver?

Sorry, but no. :( Access card is tied to YOU and the machine it is installed in. Typically, you cannot even move them from one machine to another on same account/location. You should consider getting a Sling Box and watching your machine while visiting elsewhere!

Short answer is no, access cards are married to receivers.

If possible, you can take your receiver with you and connect to your friend's dish and it will work fine. As long as your service is not simulanteously active at two locations DirecTv is not losing anything. Technically it may be a violation of your user agreement.
thank for the help.. yeah I have a sling pro I just wanted to be able to watch it on a big screen instead of my laptop and at full hd resolution
