SkyTRENDS came out with its second quarter state-by-state counts for satellite TV in the August issue of SkyRESEARCH, and found that the dish is now growing in areas where it traditionally hasn't had a lot of luck.
In the highly-cabled New England region, Connecticut saw its satellite TV penetration grow 10.56 percent during the three-month period, topping at around 131,000 customers. New Jersey, which has been the fastest-growing state for the dish this year, saw its satellite TV penetration among households grow 13.37 percent during the second quarter. New Jerseys satellite TV subscription count is near the 500,000 mark, according to SkyTRENDS' state-by-state data.
