Last week we just had the new guide downloaded, looks great BTW!

Yesterday we had an HR23-700 installed to replace the receiver. We still have the old "hinky" blue guide. I know it can take 24+ hrs to download info, but is the new guide included in this time window?

The new receiver will get the new HDUI but it may take a little while to receive the push again. Just be patient and one morning it will be there.

I replaced an HR21 with an HR24 and got the new HDUI the next day. You should get it soon.

Lucky you getting the HR24! We were hoping for that, but happy just to get another DVR I guess.

It took a couple of days after installation for us to get the HDUI on our new receivers. Install was on a Saturday and Tuesday morning the new guide was there.

What is the yellow flashing light for in the back of the unit next to the main cable? Is it because of the downloading it's going thru now? Our HR21 never did that from what I remember.

I believe that is the ethernet activity indicator.

If you just recently switched to whole Home or networked, it wouldn't have been lit before. It indicates network activity.

I bought it new from Solid Signal as I did not want an old recever.

I was scheduled for the new gui last week and I still haven't got it. Are the dates on the release chart reliable or does it take time even once it's in the stream in your area?
