if i get 95 and 100's on the 101 sat should i also get good signals on the 103c and 99c. i am only getting 70's and lower on those 2 sats. i get alot of rain fade recently. when the dish was installed i was getting 90's on the 103c. was wondering if it is just a fine tuning issue?

If the mast is not plumb it will affect the other sats even if the tilt and elevation is set correctly. Check that first. Then check to make sure tilt is set correct for your area. Then fine tune the elevation followed by azimuth.

99 and 103 are much smaller (tightly focused ) beams, and so you might get 101 and not have a good signal for 103 or 99

You'd better get them back out. When they've got the 99(c)'s and 103(c)'s mostly all in the 90's, they can go home. Everything else will be OK.

if you can access your dish def check his work, my guy did not tighten everything, also when/if you call to get them back out tell them your readings are in the 50's. It's amazing what is acceptable for D*

His readings are zero so even the DirecTV CSR should find that is an unacceptable number....

Very poor install, I'd be on the phone with a CSR ASAP and complain. They can get the installers back out there to get your signals were they need to be.

101, 110, and 119 should be in the 90s and 99c/103c should be in the high 80s at a minimum.

wow just installed yesterday and your numbers on the 101 are pretty low. seeing 100's on transponders for the 101 isn't unheard of but 90's are always almost attainable on the 101 and the new Ka stats should be in the 80's minimum

I don't know who did your install but a trained circus monkey could get better readings off of 101. You definitely need to call and have them come back out and repeak everything. You should be getting mid to high 90's if not 100 on a clear day from 101. If that isn't right to begin with, none of the other spots are going to be right.

I agree with everyone else.......get on the horn and get them back out. I moved my dish recently, and with the advice of some fine folks here, got much better numbers than that with no meter!
