Josh is our installer in Vancouver, WA. So far, great job. Dish is up and wiring is going to be minimalized for eyesore.

He wasn't sure about adding a second DECA to break out broadband to ethernet downstairs, so I am just going to have him leave a green splitter and take care of that later.

Install is complete! We have to call customer service as he had to move the dish, because it was blocked by the downspout, so we have 6 extra (plugged) holes in the hardy plank now :0

Other than that, it seems to work. I need to get a couple digital audio cables, as the 34 does not have optical audio out (what?) and my receiver does not do HDMI (I have a separate HDMI/Optical/Coax Audio switch)

So other than that, it seems to be working.

He initially mounted the dish in a location without sufficient line of sight? :eek2::eek2::nono:
That is not a good sign. I would check to see what he used to 'plug' those holes. Scary...
After looking at this again it seems as if he lagged the foot too high and the dish interfered with the gutter. Rookie mistake...
