I am getting the new 5LNB dish installed on Thursday for my HR20s. I currently have a 4X8 Multiswitch which they will replace with a new one that is compatible with the new dish. I am told this will only be 4X8 as well. Can I cascade from the new Multiswitch to the old one? The old one is not compatible with the new dish but is it compatible with the new Multiswitch?

THANKS!

I think this should work, but just be aware that any receiver connected to the older switch will not receive the MPEG4 channels.

And, of course, you will have to use four lines from the WB68 to the inputs of your old multiswitch, leaving a maximum of 4 outputs available for your MPEG4 receivers.

Not necessarily. You can split the 4 coming from the built in multiswitch in the LNB
using power passing splitters and then feed 4 to the new multiswitch and 4 to
the old.
