Unless you're going to do this on a regular basis, I wouldn't buy a meter. I'd either check Craigslist for an installer to bring his meter to help you get pointed, or I'd use a second person and a set of walkie-talkies (or cell phones, but the guy at the dish should be hands-free) and use the meter on the receiver. Given the high price of the meters that are actually useful for a Slimline, buying a meter for one job just don't make much sense.
