Hmmmm. I have webtv . I go to #362 . Type in my zip code and my local forecast comes up . This is only done with webtv plus units .

any one see the new wink weather channel on channel 492. it has been on for about a week. i do like the new look and was thrilled to see the weather data time stamped for once. Sadly the timestamping has stopped for over 24 hours now. Wink needs alot of work and does suck, but i know most here do seem to worship wink and think its the greatest invention since the toaster. I always keep wink settings turned OFF so i dont get that annoying little 'i' on the screen. if you click the 'i' on the weather channel, you dont get your local forcast but national weather, a total waste of time. Wink really does make CABLE LOOK GOOD .

What brand receiver do you have? I have RCA receivers they work just fine with interactive. On the Weather Channel when I choose interactive I have the choice of what city's weather to look at. I choose the nearest and I get current conditions with the option of viewing the 5 day forecast. The new TWCi has a greater choice of cities to choose from.

time servers are back up. weather data is being time stamped again. must of been a temporary outage. i still dont see much of a forcast though, weather channel on cable really blow this away.
I don't like the channel. The way it was before was more convienent. The new 492 is too not cute...lol
I did however set my default city to NYC. but I don't think i'll be surfing to 492 much anymore.
