Newbies (and me) you must ADD the new HD channels to your favorites or you wont see!

I guess we havent added HD in a long time because i never remember even doing this before. But today went to record on planet green and the pic sucked. Then I went into my fav setup and voila, I needed to add the ABCF and Planet green and also many/most of the new PPV HD. the good news is i was able to add a SL to ABCF before I even realized this. So i guess you can do SL for things that arent in your fav setup

now i'm not complaining about the PPV per se but am curious... wouldnt that be something that directv FORCED to be added, much like all the shopping channels we cant turn off?

Probably so, because I know you can direct tune to a channel that is not in your favorites list. I just won't show up if you surf up/down or try to go to that channel in the guide.

I discovered this when trying to tune to the Olympics channels in the 700's.
