Attached are two schedules:
1. Sched 1: The 2008 NFL Pre-Season Schedule for LIVE games. There are 18 games that will be nationally televised, the other games will be aired live in the DMA's of the Home and Visiting Teams (and sometimes other DMA's too!)
Of the 18 nationally televised games, all will be in HD except for the Browns @ Lions game on 8/23.

2. Sched 2: The 2008 NFL Pre-Season Broadcast Schedule for Replay, or delayed, games carried on NFLNET, DIRECTV Channel 212. The majority of these games are in HD.

Previous Views: 748 7/27 to 8/7

Thanks! Is NFLNET replaying like this during the regular season, or only the preseason?
Preseason only.

What NFLN does have is NFL Replay, where they show a condensed (1.5 hour), HD version of the 5 best games of the previous week.

Sunday Ticket subscribers also get shortcuts, where they show EVERY play of the Sunday Ticket games, without any commercials. These shows are .5 hours.

RE: Seahawks vs. Vikings: How can there be an 11:30pm REPLAY on 8/7 of a game to be played at 8:00pm on 8/8??

UPDATE: Correction -- the first Seahawks vs. Vikings replay will be at 11:30pm Eastern on 8/8, not 8/7 as reflected in the supplied PDF.

Thanks syphix, for the error correction. The error was that on the REPLAY schedule, all 8/7 and 8/8 Replay games were shown under 8/7.

The correction has been made and is reflected on the updated PDF doc.

Note too -- that Seahawks vs. Vikings game gets a second Replay (a Replay - Replay?) on 8/13!

And Thanks!

Question here about the RSN stations. I just got DTV today with the premiunm package and I was under the impression that I would be able to watch games from around the country but as soon as the Detroit Tigers game came on I was cut out.

Can I assume that we get blacked out once a game begins?

Also, that game is broadcast live in 480i in Northwest DMA and I think the replay will be 480i, not 1080i as displayed. NFLHD (replay channel) does not list it as Hi-Def.

desulliv,

Here's the one-line entry from the NFLNET Website:

Seattle Seahawks at Minnesota Vikings 11:30 p.m.(HD)

It may just be an error by NFLNET. We'll have to wait and see which source is correct. Remember, it is possible that the game is recorded in HD even though the local DMA station elects only to broadcast it in SD.

Most of all .... ENJOY!!

Hi-Def, it is, on NFLNET. Not listed that way on DirecTV guide, but I'll take it.

Appreciate your work on this
