What is with the lack of HD content on the NFL Network? I bought my first HD tv last October but did not sign up for Dish HD until this February. I spent the entire off season looking forward to the NFL Network in HD, and there's nothing there!! Playbook, Gameday, Total Access, all SD. The only HD content I've seen is the actual games (preseason and replay). Any idea when the NFL will invest in some HD equipment? It's not like they're short on cash.

I always thought it was kinda odd, in late Jan and early Feb. Almost all the shows were in HD Total Access, Gameday, and the others. I was even at their live set in Phoenix at the NFL Experience and all the cameras and equipment were HD and the shows were crystal clear HD. They would start the shows by saying ..we're in phoenix blah blah blah coming to you in HD.
About a week after the Super Bowl everything became what it is now. Maybe the equipment was on loan? It's just weired.

Hmm, haven't noticed myself...but of course, I only watch the occasional game on NFL Network. In fact, until I finally get my HD locals, I'm not that into the regular season. I just hope we get'em by Feb. '09. D* got my market early this year, but E* has yet to get it.

Yeah I think it is bogus too. I mean what is the point of having an HD channel when most of your content and studio shows are SD? And therefore SD clips of games they will even show in HD. I don't want them therefore, instead watch ESPN in HD.

All the NFL Replay games will be in HD.

While it would be nice to see more HD on the NFL Network, all I really care about are the games. As long as the live and replayed games are in HD, I am happy.
