Press conference at 5pm on ESPNews. Reason for firing was "just cause"....per a Raider release.

this is all wrong....i dont understand the raiders any longer. havent they heard about team chesmistry? i think that the team needs to build together...and once they do this more they will start winning more. its not all about the coaches!

i know its his second season and all.

Such a class organization, they still owe Shanahan money and he has owned the Raiders when they play the Broncos. If I were Al Davis, I'd just pay him the ~ $300,000 to get rid of the "bad juju" Pay Kiffin too.

I know I saw that on Comcast West and laughed the whole time. Al was a quote machine and it was quite hilarious. He also raised some great points too. Even called Chris Mortenson a "professional liar". :lol:

If Al liked Rob Ryan so much, why didn't he get the promotion to "interim" coach?

I think it's kinda funny that Davis constantly fires coaches for making bad decisions but he's hired 4 "bad" coaches in 6 years. I wonder if Davis will fire himself?
