D* has the NFL exclusive thru 2010, I don't see anything changing that.
He was lied to.

I agree as I thought that the CSR was lying to my brother-in-law, I just wanted to confirm it here on the board.mhayes70 said:It sounds like they offered him the NFL network, not NFL sunday ticket. The sunday ticket is where you get all the NFL games and I think that is what he is wanting. As was said before Directv has it until 2010. It sounds like they are trying to trick him into thinking that he will get all the NFL games and he won't with the NFL network.
And DTv will get it, too. The NFL is not exactly about consumers. Exclusive to Sirius, EA (for games), Sprint (for mobile), and of course, DTv forever.Earl Bonovich said:Funny..
Must be a memo or something that got sent around to Comcast CSR/Installers
As just about a month ago, we had a nearly identical thread/post...
As the other said, throught the 2010 season it is a DirecTV exclusive.
And you can probably bet your sweet potatos, DirecTV is going to pay through the nose to lock it up for another 5-7 years after that.
Especially if they get their hands on the Extra Innings exclusive.
Isn't that the same trick that Dish Network tried a few months back? I still see that commercial every now and then.mhayes70 said:It sounds like they offered him the NFL network, not NFL sunday ticket.
